<\/strong>10% off all of the time<\/strong>
Receiving a 10% discount card at three of Paris\u2019  department stores (grands magasins<\/em>) is easy. Ask at the store about this discount. This discount is immediate and different from the value added tax refund. Only two limitations are attached: 1) the date on the card and 2) the red dot (point rouge). Visit the store\u2019s customer service desk (information or accueil). This discount is separate from your duty free discount that you validate at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cards for Printemps<\/strong> and Galeries Lafayette<\/strong> are valid for one year (January to December). Le Bon March\u00e9 and BHV do not offer the discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take your original or a photocopy of your passport to the customer service desks. At Galeries Lafayette with your passport or copy, you will receive a card for the days you are in town and shopping; with an airline ID, the card will be valid for three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cWhere\u201d magazine at your hotel or a Paris map with your hotel stationery advertising Galeries Lafayette or Printemps might have a one-year card attached. Look in that magazine or map for a free gift coupon. If it is offered, the coupon is good for a free shopping bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10% discount card is valid at any non \u201cpoint rouge\u201d counter.  If you see this red dot displayed on a white sign, a red price tag, or a price tag with a red dot you cannot use the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fashion Shows<\/strong>
Galeries Lafayette – A free weekly fashion show, Fridays at 3 p.m. on the seventh floor of the main Haussmann store in the Salon Op\u00e9ra, presented by their team of six professional models who show off the latest trends by the most famous designer and couturier collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 30-minute presentation requires reservations<\/strong> and includes a commentary done in English. Compulsory reservation by e-mail : welcome@galerieslafayette.com or call +33 1 42 82 36 40. Confirmation in return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Printemps has the best view of Paris from a Paris department store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
