The Ratatouille document is from the\u00a0Paris mayor&#8217;s Web site\u00a0with a map and references to places in Paris that were made in the movie &#8212; could be a fun way to see Paris.\u2028\u2028 You will find all the recent movies on Mayor&#8217;s link.<\/p>\n<p>If the children are 10 and up, consider visiting the\u00a0<strong>sewers of Paris<\/strong>\u00a0(les \u00e9gouts de Paris). Hours and videos on the Paris Mayor&#8217;s page. The site will provide the basic information about price and opening times.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Palais de la D\u00e9couverte<\/strong>\u00a0is very close to the Champs Elys\u00e9es.\u00a0 It is a science museum (although in French the displays and interactivity could be universal.\u00a0 It is located on the back side of the Grand Palais.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>Monoprix<\/strong>\u00a0is located on the corner of the Champs Elys\u00e9es and rue du Colis\u00e9e. They have a grocery store downstairs and clothes, household goods, cosmetics, etc. upstairs.<\/p>\n<p>This is also a good spot to pick up picnic supplies (depending on the weather). If you have small tots who want to play in the sand box at the park before or after the guignols (puppets) (av Matignon and Champs-Elys\u00e9es), check out the Monoprix for the spoons, cups, pails, shovels and other toys.<\/p>\n<p>Buy tasty bread at\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Paul\" href=\"http:\/\/www.paul-uk.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Paul<\/a><\/strong>. The two closest locations to the Champs-Elys\u00e9es are at 49 bis avenue Franklin Roosevelt and 84 avenue Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>The temptation of chocolate is nearby at\u00a0<a title=\"Jadis et Gourmande\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jadisetgourmande.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jadis et Gourmande<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 If you are unsure what to choose from their wide, delicious selection, I recommend putting together a small bag of\u00a0<strong><a title=\"ganaches\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ganache\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ganaches<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and its various flavors. Ten pieces will cost under 7 euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marionnettes\/Guignols<\/strong>\u00a0(Marionettes\/Puppets)<br \/>\nUnder fives along for the tour? Try the marionettes on Wednesday and Saturdays at the park on the corner of Avenue Matignon and Champs-Elys\u00e9es. Find more information on theatres, guignols, circuses in the article \u201c<strong><a title=\"Puppets and Marionettes in Paris\" href=\"https:\/\/staging-wptechsupport.com\/colleensparis\/blog\/2010\/05\/18\/puppets-and-marionettes-in-paris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Puppets and Marionettes in Paris<\/a><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A man in a black hat (the voice of the marionettes) begins swinging and ringing a massive bell at Rond-Pont Champs-Elys\u00e9es announcing the opening of the gate to the performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Playground in the area<\/strong><br \/>\nA playground is located within the same park, as well as mechanical amusements (1 ticket is 1.50 euros &#8211; multiple tickets are also available) and swings (<em>balancoires<\/em>) 1 euro per child.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toilets<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are facilities available in the park, but if you would rather go some place extremely nice and especially if you have someone in your party in diapers &#8212; go to 26 Champs-Elys\u00e9es and\u00a0<strong>Point WC<\/strong>\u00a0inside the gallery. It is also accessible from rue de Ponthieu. For the price of 1,50 euro, believe me, it will be worth the visit with its contemporary design and products.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"The Disney Store\" href=\"http:\/\/www.disneystore.fr\/trouver-un-magasin-disney\/mn\/1300001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Disney Store<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at 44 avenue Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Restaurants<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the Champs-Elys\u00e9es area, you have pizza restaurants,\u00a0<strong>Hippopotamus<\/strong>, brasseries, and movie theaters with movies in English. Use the\u00a0<strong>Hippopotamus<\/strong>\u00a0movie coupon (Hippocin\u00e9)\u00a0 for 5 euros off, print out the document (&#8220;imprimer cette fiche&#8221;) and take it with you. Restrictions: Dine after 7:30 p.m. and everyone has to spend at least 23 euros. Maybe the\u00a0<strong>Hippo\u00e9tudiant<\/strong>\u00a0is better. Show your student ID any night between Sunday and Thursday for 20% off your meal. They also offer a\u00a0<strong>HippoKids<\/strong>\u00a0menu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hippopotamus<\/strong>, 6, avenue Franklin Roosevelt Metro FDR .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caf\u00e9 le Ponthieu<\/strong>\u00a0is a very nice, small caf\u00e9 on the corner of avenue Franklin Roosevelt and rue de Ponthieu. Good menu prices at lunch time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul<\/strong>\u00a0 is also on avenue Franklin Roosevelt and a good place close by the Champs-Elys\u00e9es for a sandwich, pastry or some fresh bread.
