\n“For a full history of the Jews in France, from their arrival with the Romans to their final expulsion in the 14th century. With many slides, the talk will go through the community’s revival after the French Revolution, the expansion in the 19th century as well as the tragedy in the 20th century. The lecture will highlight several Synagogues (including the beautiful Art Nouveau one by Guimard), stores and views of the Jewish quarter, past and present.”
