Do you prefer light, airy, electric transportation? Would you like a scenic ride along the fashionable Avenue Foch to and from the Arc de Triomphe? This describes your journey on the shuttle for the museum Fondation Louis Vuitton (FLV). When you plan a visit to the FLV<\/a> you have alternatives: Line 1, Buses 63 or 244 or the FLV shuttle. The requirement to use the shuttle is to have an admission ticket to the museum.<\/p>\n

Oh my! What if you decide to go to the museum on a whim and have not purchased a ticket!? Use your credit card on the shuttle to purchase it from the driver. If you bought a ticket online show it to the driver. The shuttle costs an extra one euro each way or buy a round trip ticket.<\/p>\n

The shuttle starts and ends on Avenue de Friedland (an 1807 French\/Russian Battle during the Napoleonic Wars) closest to the Arc de Triomphe.<\/p>\n

If you choose the metro, you will have a pleasant walk from Les Sablons through a neighbourhood, past the main entrance to Jardin d’Acclimatation. The walk takes about ten to fifteen minutes.<\/p>\n

Buses 63 and 244 stop between the FLV and the main entrance to the Jardin d’Acclimatation.<\/p>\n

Tips for your visit to FLV and Jardin d’Acclimatation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Museum<\/a>

The Jardin d’Acclimatation has opened a side entrance near the bow* of the FLV museum. Certain views of FLV and its cascading water are only visible from the Jardin. A Jardin d’Acclimatation food truck is just outside the rear entrance if you want a quick bite to eat during your visit. Here is what to do:<\/p>\n

Enter the museum. Take the back exit\/sortie facing the Jardin. Walk around, have lunch and take photos. When you are ready to continue your museum visit, show your ticket, pass a minor security check and re-enter the museum. If you are done with your museum visit, you can visit the Jardin d’Acclimatation (a future article on the renovated Jardin).<\/p>\n

Ticket kiosks are available at this back entrance if you are already in the Jardin d’Acclimatation and decide to visit the museum.<\/p>\n

When you are ready to take the shuttle back, exit the Jardin or go back through the museum.<\/p>\n

*The boat is the symbol of Paris. The museum resembles a boat with sails. The FLV museum is a Frank Gehry design<\/a>, one two designs in Paris; the other is La Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que fran\u00e7aise.<\/a><\/p>\n
