\"gif<\/a>As the poster says, this is “an entertaining museum off the beaten path in Paris!” The Mus\u00e9e des Arts Forains<\/a><\/strong> (Museum of Fairground Art and carnival rides) is a large collection of entertainment and fairground art objects. English tours are planned for Monday and Thursday: July 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28; August 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22 and 25 (reservations required). Tours at other times are in French.<\/p>\n

The visit is a real family fun moment. I highly recommend seeing this completely different museum in another beautiful neighborhood in our Ville Lumi\u00e8re<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Mus\u00e9e des Arts Forains is a private museum located in one of the original nineteenth century wine warehouses among the Bercy pavilions. The Arts Forains collection began with Jean-Paul Favand’s curiosity for antique “curiosities” in the 1970s. The Bercy pavilions website<\/a>, has more about the “fun fair” background and the history of Bercy from 7,000 years ago to the wine cellar industry and today’s gardens.<\/p>\n
