Ice Skating<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

H\u00f4tel de Ville<\/strong>
Two rinks skating rinks are open at H\u00f4tel de Ville between the second week in December until the beginning of March. One rink is for grown ups and the other is reserved for those under six.
Licensed rink monitors will keep an eye on the different skating levels (beginners, old-hands, groups) to help with technical tips and keep the peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekday mornings are reserved for various groups and centers in the city of Paris, including handicapped<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the skating rink is free for those with their own skates.
Others may rent skates for five euros. The available sizes (European) are 25 to 49. Two-blade skates (size 27 and smaller) are available for children.
A photo ID is required to rent the skates.
For safety reasons, you must wear gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Champs-Elys\u00e9es<\/strong>
They say the concept is simple: You grab your skates and head out to the center of the ice. You will be totally immersed in a magic Scandinavian ambiance. Surrounded by 600 fir trees, imagine yourself skating through a Canadian forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ride the merry-go-round\/carrousels in Paris for free during the holidays<\/strong>.
The twenty Holiday carrousels are open every day 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/strong> from a Saturday mid-December to January 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These carrousels turent counterclockwise (“dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d\u2019une mounter”) so the children can wave hello to the crowd and their parents with their right hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
